Q Series Long Arm Training and Set up

Fred and June-Marie go to the Bernina Creative Center to learn about the Q Series Long Arm

To be able to sell a Bernina Long Arm, a dealer needs to be certified.  That means going off to training in Aurora IL at the Bernina Creative Center.

We touched on all areas of long arming from loading a quilt properly, doing panto-graphs, free motion, ruler work and using the software for automated quilting.  Fred did the tech class also while June-Marie and Jenny did some stitching on the new 790Pro!

We were able to come home with two long arms and software, the Q24 on a large frame and the Q20 on a studio frame.

The first weekend back had Fred setting up the Q20 in the first room upstairs of our studio/service area.

The second weekend had Fred with June-Marie's help setting up the Q24 in the main showroom downstairs.  Fred was able to install the Q-Matic before the shop hop at the end of that week.

We have been practicing with the Q-Matic and some free motion.
